The specifications remain the same; only the item numbers have changed. The Kiwaya LT impresses with its warmth and subtlety of sound. It may not have dazzling projection, but it possesses an incredible harmonic richness and purity of sound, with every note precise, deep and haunting. The light weight, flat neck with low action gives this instrument exceptional playability. The satin finish is soft to the touch, and apart from decoration around the rosette and the gold Kiwaya logo screen-printed on the headstock, the clean lines hint at the elegance of its character. Pono MGT-K Solid Mango Tenor Ukulele PARTICULAR SIGNS  Tenor  Solid mango top   Solid mango back & sides  Mahogany neck   Merbau bridge & fingerboard  Ko'olau Alohi All Plain strings  Bone nut & saddle  Grover open gear tuners  Nut width : 35mm  Satin finish   Scale length : 432mm / 20 frets  Made in Indonesia CASA OPINION Pono is a legendary brand that has played a major role in the rise of the ukulele over the years. Their instruments are made in Indonesia by the Ko'olau parent company, based in Hawaii. Their instruments are arguably in the upper mid-range, all made of solid wood and crafted to Ko'olau's exacting standards. This series is made from solid mango wood, increasingly prized both for its appearance and for the richness of its sound. The overall color is highly contrasting, with little variation from model to model. The satin finish offers a pleasantly soft, silky feel; for those who prefer a gloss finish, the same model is available on the site in gloss finish under the reference: MGCD.  The tone is lively and dynamic, both volume and sustain are excellent, and the sound is projected with a minimum of effort, all due to the resonance created by the lightweight construction. A very precise instrument, neither bright nor dark, the sound is perfectly versatile and lends itself to all playing styles.

However, the 110 series stands out thanks to its incredibly smooth satin finish, which contrasts with the glossy varnish typically found on other models in this series, and its solid Cuban mahogany construction, which produces a softer, more mellow and jazzy sound.  This series is also called ‘green’ in reference to a green border and rectangle around the ukulele and at the bottom of the body, as well as the very sturdy ‘aNueNue Green Leather Hardshell Case’. Cuban mahogany is a rare wood with impressive acoustic properties. Combined with their new lattice bracing, it develops a wide sound palette with mellow bass and precise, clear trebles. It is a versatile instrument, with sublime arpeggio playing in line with what this fantastic manufacturer has been offering us for several years, and warm, dynamic strumming that subtly evokes vintage sounds.   aNueNue offers a model that is as classy in appearance as it is in sound, with a quality of craftsmanship that continues to surprise us.

Crafted from solid koa, it offers excellent projection with well-defined notes and good dynamic range, equally at home with soft playing as with more rhythmic accompaniment. This model differs notably from the KTM-00 Tenor in its satin finish (as opposed to the high-gloss varnish on the KTM-00). This choice is not merely aesthetic: it also influences the sound. The KTM-10 RP produces a slightly more muted, softer and more subdued sound, whilst the KTM-00 has greater brilliance and projection in the treble range.

Production of Koaloha ukuleles began in 1995, handcrafted, one by one, in Honolulu, and although they have undergone improvements over time, they still sound with the same signature: a tone rich in harmony, warmth and luminosity. Perfectly balanced, these instruments are ideal for all types of music. From finger picking to strumming, from classical to jazz, the Hawaiian Koa series sounds wonderful. In the hands, it's very pleasant, extremely light and well balanced. The build quality is obvious, and you know you're playing a top-quality ukulele. aNueNue Singer RT1M-TS Tobacco Sunburst Tenor Ukulele with Hard Case PARTICULAR SIGNS  Tenor  All Solid mahogany  Mahogany neck   Rosewood bridge & fingerboard   Buffalo bones nut & saddle  Gotoh UPT machine heads  High gloss finish   20 frets  Nut width : 37mm  Abalone rosette   aNueNue Black Water Fluorocarbon strings  Hard case included   CASA OPINION It is with great pleasure that we welcome the "Singer" series, the new line from aNueNue! The aim is clearly stated: to present instruments with a more vintage look and which stand out from their modern models with which they have revolutionized the ukulele market in recent years. However, the DNA of the manufacturer is well and truly there, and we find with delight, an excellent substain, a rich sound in volume with an incredible dynamic. A new fan-shaped baffle equips this series, which brings out the midrange frequencies full of harmonies, and it should also be noted that they are equipped with Gotoh UPT mechanics, which are extremely precise.  The Singer RT1M-TS is made entirely of solid mahogany, with a subtle tobacco sunburst finish that offers a nice brown/red tone gradation. It's the one in the series with the least amount of frills, but the essentials are there. We have the natural warmth of mahogany but also lightness and shine. It develops quite a lot of volume when you strum the strings with a lot of attack but also knows how to be reactive and dynamic in a very soft play. It is versatile and comfortable in all registers. What more can I say? Except to invite you to come and try it in our shop in Vitry-sur-Seine, located 50 meters from the RER C station.

aNueNue Singer RT5R-LS Lemon Sunburst Tenor Ukulele With Hard Case PARTICULAR SIGNS  Tenor  Solid "Swiss Moon" spruce top  Indian rosewood back & sides  Mahogany neck   Rosewood bridge & fingerboard   Buffalo bones nut & saddle  Gotoh UPT machine heads   High gloss finish  20 frets  Nut width : 37mm   Abalone rosette & binding  aNueNue Black Water Fluorocarbon strings   Weight : 630g  Hard Case Included CASA OPINION It is with great pleasure that we welcome the "Singer" series, the new line from aNueNue! A new fan-shaped bracing is fitted to this series, which brings out more of the harmonious midrange frequencies. It should also be noted that they are equipped with Gotoh UPT mechanics, which are extremely precise.  This RT5R model in Lemon Sunburst or Cherry Sunburst finish is the closest to the Moon Bird UT-200, with a solid "Swiss Moon" spruce top and Indian rosewood for the back and sides, all surrounded by the highest quality abalone and a brilliant varnish of the most beautiful effect. The sound is superbly crisp and clear, we hear the brightness of the spruce, softened by the darkness of the rosewood. There is a wonderful balance between the bass, midrange and treble. Every note rings like a bell, there is no doubt, you have in your hands a high end instrument, hand made by the luthiers of aNueNue, who once again have done a wonderful job.
