This new Martin model is a great success. This ukulele is made from high-pressure laminate (HPL) wood, and offers enhanced resistance to climatic variations, making it the perfect travel companion. But it's the sound we love most of all - a rich, round sound with great clarity that transports you. This ukulele is simply excellent!

Anyway we couldn't do it, we love him too, the neck is easy to play, and he has a great sound. The Thinline format, makes this ukulele particularly light, but it is robust to accompany you everywhere with its deluxe gig bag included.

It is a very pleasant instrument, with a nice clear sound, the bass is not too present, it is well balanced.  The weight is a bit heavier than average but nothing too disturbing.  The manufacturing is serious, with a correctness on all the neck and an optimal playing comfort. Note that the wood grain and colour can be very different from one instrument to another. Don't hesitate to ask us for pictures before ordering :)

It is adaptable to different climates, making it one of the most durable and stable tone woods. Rosewood is a hard, oily wood with a dark red appearance. It produces a deep bass, and a very harmonic treble.  These woods are solid and have been naturally air-dried for many years before being put into production.
