The mahogany is beautiful, enhanced by elegant black binding and aged metal tuning machines for a vintage feel.  The instrument is light, with a very low action for effortless playing. The sound is rich, with notes that are precise and deep when played melodically, and clear and balanced when played in chords.

The Rose in tenor format is a perfect combination of the brightness of spruce and the deeper sound of rosewood, resulting in an extremely pleasant clear and round resonance. When fingerpicked, it delivers bell-like highs and sounds like a music box, it's superb.

Like its illustrious predecessor, it impresses with its remarkable sound range. Like many slim ukuleles, it offers a lively and dynamic response, but it also stands out for its roundness and warmth. These qualities are further enhanced by the low G string and the Aquila B-Blacks strings, which we find truly excellent.  Aesthetically, the instrument is appealing for its beauty and meticulous finish. It is a very pleasant instrument, with a nice clear sound, the bass is not too present, it is well balanced.  The weight is a bit heavier than average but nothing too disturbing.  The manufacturing is serious, with a correctness on all the neck and an optimal playing comfort. Note that the wood grain and colour can be very different from one instrument to another. Don't hesitate to ask us for pictures before ordering :)
