CASA OPINION

This new Feather series incorporates the iconic features of the Bird series, including a slotted headstock and a cutaway that facilitates access to the high notes.

It stands out for its major innovations, starting with its solid double top: a superb layer of sapele wood, combined with an inner cedar top that offers exceptional vibrational qualities. This unique design crosses the wood grain in different directions, offering remarkable stability, great flexibility, and optimal projection.

The sound is rich and nuanced: precise, brilliant highs; warm, expressive mids; and deep, perfectly defined lows, always balanced.

The bracing features a lattice structure, inspired by high-end classical guitars, optimizing resonance, dynamics, and responsiveness to playing.

The sustain is generous, the volume naturally full, and the response immediate: the sound blossoms at the slightest touch.

The back and sides, crafted from solid Taiwanese koa wood—carefully selected for their beauty and acoustic properties—add warmth, depth, and harmonic complexity, while contributing to a perfectly balanced overall resonance.

It is a very pleasant instrument, with a nice clear sound, the bass is not too present, it is well balanced.  The weight is a bit heavier than average but nothing too disturbing.  The manufacturing is serious, with a correctness on all the neck and an optimal playing comfort. Note that the wood grain and colour can be very different from one instrument to another. Don't hesitate to ask us for pictures before ordering :)
