On this Koa S, the association between koa and spruce works wonderfully, the projection and the substain are enormous. the versatility is the key word of this ukulele, it will give you roundness and mellowness in melancholic arpeggios, and also pep's and dynamism for Hawaiian strumming!  With its 37 mm width at the saddle, it offers a very good playability. The pickup system is double and uses both a piezo under saddle and an internal pickup, this gives a better amplified sound with more possibilities. Originating from Switzerland, the Moon spruce has a white and snowy appearance and a straight and tight wood grain. It is adaptable to different climates, making it one of the most durable and stable tone woods. Rosewood is a hard, oily wood with a dark red appearance. It produces a deep bass, and a very harmonic treble.  These woods are solid and have been naturally air-dried for many years before being put into production. It is a very pleasant instrument, with a nice clear sound, the bass is not too present, it is well balanced.  The weight is a bit heavier than average but nothing too disturbing.  The manufacturing is serious, with a correctness on all the neck and an optimal playing comfort.
