The aim is clearly stated: to present instruments with a more vintage look and which stand out from their modern models with which they have revolutionized the ukulele market in recent years. However, the DNA of the manufacturer is well and truly there, and we find with delight, an excellent substain, a rich sound in volume with an incredible dynamic. A new fan-shaped bracing is fitted to this series, which brings out more of the harmonious midrange frequencies. It should also be noted that they are equipped with Gotoh UPT mechanics, which are extremely precise.  This RT5R model in Lemon Sunburst or Cherry Sunburst finish is the closest to the Moon Bird UT-200, with a solid "Swiss Moon" spruce top and Indian rosewood for the back and sides, all surrounded by the highest quality abalone and a brilliant varnish of the most beautiful effect. The sound is superbly crisp and clear, we hear the brightness of the spruce, softened by the darkness of the rosewood. There is a wonderful balance between the bass, midrange and treble. Every note rings like a bell, there is no doubt, you have in your hands a high end instrument, hand made by the luthiers of aNueNue, who once again have done a wonderful job.

Production of Koaloha ukuleles began in 1995, handcrafted, one by one, in Honolulu, and although they have undergone improvements over time, they still sound with the same signature: a tone rich in harmony, warmth and luminosity.Perfectly balanced, these instruments are ideal for all types of music. Romero Creations Grand Tenor Koa

Romero Creations Grand Tenor Koa PARTICULARS SIGNS  Tenor   Solid Hawaiien koa top   Solis Hawaiien koa back & sides  Mahogany neck  Ebony bridge & fingerboard  Designed by Pepe Romero  Bone nut & saddle  Nut width: 38mm  Strings: Pepe Romero UT2 with polished won low-G  Abalone rosette  High gloss finish  Scale length : 432mm / 17 frets  Made in Vietnam  Softcase included CASA OPINION  This Grand Tenor is first of all exceptionally beautiful (the model taken in the picture will be the one sent). The size of the body is bigger than a standard tenor and offers more volume, resonance and sustain, which is quite logical.  When you play this Grand Tenor, what is striking is the thinness of the neck and the flat profile, and with its width of 38mm, we have rarely played on a ukulele so pleasant and easy.  The sound is obviously powerful, round, and with a huge sustain, but it keeps a perfect balance of frequencies and each string and each fret will offer you a delicious harmony  For its touch, for its sound, for its beauty, it's an instrument that is worth every single euro invested, it's an instrument that we keep, and that gives us the means to surpass ourselves.

The Rebel Custom Shop Arete Tenor PARTICULAR SIGNS  Tenor  Solid mango & mahogany top   Solid mango back & sides   Marango neck   Ebony bridge & fingerboard  Ebony head plate  Gotoh Stealth key Tuning machines  TUSQ®  nut & saddles  The Rebel strings Low-G  Nut width : 38,05 mm   Ebony rosette  19 frets  Gloss finish  Deluxe gig bag included  Made in Thailand  CASA OPINION The luthiers in Rebel's custom shop must have had free hand to express so much creativity in the creation of these two models we've just received, so different and innovative are they. This Arete model is a limited edition of 6, and we're delighted to be able to offer you one in our shop. Everything about it is singular, starting with the slightly pear-shaped body we've never seen before. The soundboard is a blend of mango and spalted mahogany with a simply sublime crescent-moon rosette contour. The sides are in mango and the back in Indian rosewood. The headstock is finely carved, and the Gotoh Stealth double-tone machine heads add even more character. This model is inspired by Greek philosophy. Arete" is a Greek concept meaning "excellence of every kind". The term can also refer to excellence in "moral virtue", the fulfillment of a goal or function: living up to one's potential. A person of arete is of maximum efficiency: he uses all his faculties - strength, bravery and spirit - to achieve concrete results. In the Homeric world, arete implies all the abilities and potentialities available to human beings. This breathtaking beauty doesn't detract from the incredible resonance and depth of sound this ukulele is capable of producing. A rich, consistent sound with plenty of roundness. The Rebel gig bag is included, but we offer a hard case for added protection. Don't hesitate to add this superb tenor to your collection. We guarantee you'll love it!

This thinline body is not bulky and very comfortable to hold, while keeping a nice amplitude of sound. The strings installed on it are Worth fluorocarbon strings, they are very thin, and offer a crystal clear sound. The piezo pickup associated with the double B1 preamp gives a sound quite faithful to that of the pure acoustic. In short, we can say that the force is with this Princess Leia ukulele.
