It is a very pleasant instrument, with a nice clear sound, the bass is not too present, it is well balanced.  The weight is a bit heavier than average but nothing too disturbing.  The manufacturing is serious, with a correctness on all the neck and an optimal playing comfort. On this Koa S, the association between koa and spruce works wonderfully, the projection and the substain are enormous. the versatility is the key word of this ukulele, it will give you roundness and mellowness in melancholic arpeggios, and also pep's and dynamism for Hawaiian strumming!  With its 37 mm width at the saddle, it offers a very good playability. The overall color is highly contrasting, with little variation from model to model. The satin finish offers a pleasantly soft, silky feel; for those who prefer a gloss finish, the same model is available on the site in gloss finish under the reference: MGCD.  The tone is lively and dynamic, both volume and sustain are excellent, and the sound is projected with a minimum of effort, all due to the resonance created by the lightweight construction.
