Its name is inspired by a Hawaiian legend about the impossible love between a princess and a common man.   This is the contrast that KoAloha offers us with this ukulele, the vibrant, powerful sound of the koa, and the gentle warmth of the mango in the high notes. aNueNue Singer RT1M-TS Tobacco Sunburst Tenor Ukulele with Hard Case PARTICULAR SIGNS  Tenor  All Solid mahogany  Mahogany neck   Rosewood bridge & fingerboard   Buffalo bones nut & saddle  Gotoh UPT machine heads  High gloss finish   20 frets  Nut width : 37mm  Abalone rosette   aNueNue Black Water Fluorocarbon strings  Hard case included   CASA OPINION It is with great pleasure that we welcome the "Singer" series, the new line from aNueNue! The aim is clearly stated: to present instruments with a more vintage look and which stand out from their modern models with which they have revolutionized the ukulele market in recent years. However, the DNA of the manufacturer is well and truly there, and we find with delight, an excellent substain, a rich sound in volume with an incredible dynamic. A new fan-shaped baffle equips this series, which brings out the midrange frequencies full of harmonies, and it should also be noted that they are equipped with Gotoh UPT mechanics, which are extremely precise.  The Singer RT1M-TS is made entirely of solid mahogany, with a subtle tobacco sunburst finish that offers a nice brown/red tone gradation. It's the one in the series with the least amount of frills, but the essentials are there. We have the natural warmth of mahogany but also lightness and shine. It develops quite a lot of volume when you strum the strings with a lot of attack but also knows how to be reactive and dynamic in a very soft play. It is versatile and comfortable in all registers. What more can I say? Except to invite you to come and try it in our shop in Vitry-sur-Seine, located 50 meters from the RER C station.

aNueNue UT 110 Solid Cuban mahogany Tenor ukulele PARTICULAR SIGNS   Tenor   Solid Cuban mahogany top  Solid Cuban mahogany back & sides   Mahogany neck   Ebony bridge & fingerboard  Tuners : Gotoh UPT  Buffalo bone nut & saddle   Nut width : 37 mm  aNueNue Green Planet strings  20 frets   Spalted maple rosette  Spalted maple binding  Smooth satin finish  aNueNue Green Leather Hardshell Case CASA OPINION Like the other models in the Bird series, this ukulele features a cutaway and a moon-shaped soundhole. However, the 110 series stands out thanks to its incredibly smooth satin finish, which contrasts with the glossy varnish typically found on other models in this series, and its solid Cuban mahogany construction, which produces a softer, more mellow and jazzy sound.  This series is also called ‘green’ in reference to a green border and rectangle around the ukulele and at the bottom of the body, as well as the very sturdy ‘aNueNue Green Leather Hardshell Case’. Cuban mahogany is a rare wood with impressive acoustic properties. Combined with their new lattice bracing, it develops a wide sound palette with mellow bass and precise, clear trebles. It is a versatile instrument, with sublime arpeggio playing in line with what this fantastic manufacturer has been offering us for several years, and warm, dynamic strumming that subtly evokes vintage sounds.   aNueNue offers a model that is as classy in appearance as it is in sound, with a quality of craftsmanship that continues to surprise us.

Romero Creations Tiny Tenor Mango (pictures of model #24033 with will be sent)  PARTICULAR SIGNS  Tenor    Solid mango top   Solid mango back & sides  Mahogany neck  Ebony bridge & fingerboard  Designed by Pepe Romero & Daniel Ho  Nut width :35 mm  Bone nuts  Pepe Romero US2 strings with Low-G wound  Abalone rosette  High Gloss Finish   Scale Length : 432 mm / 16 frets   Softcase included L'AVIS DE LA CASA  The concept of the Tiny Tenor is to offer you the same pitch and playability of a tenor ukulele but in ultra-compact proportions, thanks in particular to a reduced headstock, body design and bridge location. The neck is slim with a flat profile, and despite its width of 35 cm, the strings are well spaced out and the most complex chords are easy to play. This ukulele is really made for playing arpeggios and picking. It's in the sound that the Tiny Tenor reveals all its splendour, with the mellowness of mango combined with a long sustain. The design of the Tiny Tenor, with a very high rosette that picks up string vibrations where the sound is richest, is profound. The basses, aided by the metal-spun low-g of the Pepe Romero UT-2 strings, are amazingly round yet precise. It's all a question of balance, and Romero Creations have found the recipe!  The mango wood often varies considerably from one model to another, so please feel free to ask for photos of the models in stock.
