Striped Ebony is a breathtakingly beautiful wood, with exceptional tonal qualities. Playing comfort is also very good, you just need to get on the line to get the right note, and you can attack the strings straightforwardly without the buzz sometimes found on other fretted U-BASSes. The strings come out pleasant to the touch and lend themselves easily to all the fretless bassist's playing techniques, such as tremolo or ghost-notes.

Classic and timeless, the pineapple shape is in the purest Hawaiian tradition. After comparing it at length with the standard version (the KSM-00 soprano), we found them to be extremely similar, but we perceive more pep and projection in this model. As you know, each instrument is unique, and in any case, two ukuleles of the same model will never sound exactly the same, especially at this level of perfection. Crafted from solid koa, it offers excellent projection with well-defined notes and good dynamic range, equally at home with soft playing or more rhythmic accompaniment. This model differs notably from the KTM-00 Tenor in its satin finish (as opposed to the gloss finish on the KTM-00). This choice is not merely aesthetic: it also influences the sound. The KTM-10 RP produces a slightly more muted, softer and more subdued sound, whilst the KTM-00 offers greater brightness and projection in the treble range. The Royal Pikake design adds an elegant touch without being over the top, and the playing comfort remains true to KoAloha’s reputation: simple, effective and a pleasure to play every day. Originating from Switzerland, the Moon spruce has a white and snowy appearance and a straight and tight wood grain. It is adaptable to different climates, making it one of the most durable and stable tone woods. Rosewood is a hard, oily wood with a dark red appearance. It produces a deep bass, and a very harmonic treble.  These woods are solid and have been naturally air-dried for many years before being put into production.
