Famous FC-1G Concert Ukulele  PARTICULAR SIGNS   Format concert  Layered mahogany body  Mahogany neck  Walnut fingerboard  Tuner : Gotoh geared  ABS resin nut & saddle  Scale length : 380 mm  17 frets  Famous Aranjuez nylon strings  Nut width : 35mm  Satin finish  Made in Japan CASA OPINION  The "Eco" series, known as "Famous" (in Japan), is KIWAYA's oldest brand since 1955, and also the best-selling series in Japan. Previously reserved for the Japanese market, we received these models in Europe under the name Kiwaya and the designation “eco series.” In order to harmonize their offering, they have now decided to distribute the “eco series” in France and Europe under the name “Famous.”  Apart from the label, nothing has changed—it's still a Kiwaya made in Japan!  The body of the instrument is made of "Layered tonewood", and offers exceptional acoustic performance with an impressive, extremely well-balanced volume. Its light weight and extremely precise tuning make this ukulele an addictive instrument to play. Kiwaya has a long history as a ukulele manufacturer, which makes this Eco series different from and above other ukuleles in the same price range.

ANueNue UC1K All Solid AA Grade Koa Concert Ukulele W/Case (real pictures Model #AM05731) PARTICULAR SIGNS  Concert  Solid AA Grade Hawaiian koa body  Mahogany neck  Ebony bridge & fingerboard  Koa headstock  Buffalo bone nut and saddle  Rosewood binding  Gotoh planetary tuning machines  Gloss finish   20 frets   Nut width : 35mm  aNueNue Black Water strings  Blue hard case CASA OPINION This Bird series is already a cult and has put aNueNue among the best ukulele manufacturers in the world, thanks to the cutaway shape that allows access to the highs without compromising the sound volume of the instrument. The sound offers warm mids, deep lows and crystal clear highs and allows for greater versatility in playing, regardless of style or genre. What is also striking is the dynamic range of this instrument, the notes are clear and full even at very low volumes, which is perfect for fingerstyle playing.  Note that the series has evolved and now offers a full headstock with very reliable Gotoh Planetary tuners, as on the UT3K or UT200 models, which is more convenient to install the strings in my opinion.
