It's a Bird series, with all South American mahogany construction. This series is also called green in reference to the green edging and rectangle all around the ukulele and at the bottom of the body, and also to the  "aNueNue Green Leather Hardshell Case". The UC110 is made from Cuban mahogany, a rare wood that, combined with their new lattice bracing, develops an impressive, extremely rich palette of sound, both in the bass and treble ranges.  The incredibly smooth satin finish offers an alternative to the high-gloss finish usually found on Bird series. This new offering from aNueNue is both aesthetically and sonically classy, modern yet with a hint of vintage, and, above all, with a build quality that continues to surprise.

It is true that the massive mango tree is excentric. There is also something modern about these ukuleles, the geometric and cubic shapes on the fingerboard and on the logo are certainly part of it. However, once in hand the sound is smooth and creamy, they sing traditionally well and are easy to learn thanks to an exceptional playability. The Rebel Ukulele brings a particular care to the manufacturing, and all the models that we received are always extremely well finished. Between modernity and tradition, The Rebel Ukulele never ceases to seduce us, and we think that it is a brand that will count a lot in the future of the ukulele, and here, at La Casa, they will always have a place of choice. Initially intended for the Portuguese cavaquinho, APC responded favourably to the request of La Casa de Ukulele™ to decline these designs, on concert and soprano ukuleles. This is a vivid and beautifully imperfect handmade paint and engraving job, which has nothing to do with a sanitized and standardized industrial decoration. The solid acacia wood delivers a harmonious sound, with beautiful, full and true notes all along the neck. Made by APC in Portugal.
