Its name is inspired by a Hawaiian legend about the impossible love between a princess and a common man.   This is the contrast that KoAloha offers us with this ukulele, the vibrant, powerful sound of the koa, and the gentle warmth of the mango in the high notes. However, the 110 series stands out thanks to its incredibly smooth satin finish, which contrasts with the glossy varnish typically found on other models in this series, and its solid Cuban mahogany construction, which produces a softer, more mellow and jazzy sound.  This series is also called ‘green’ in reference to a green border and rectangle around the ukulele and at the bottom of the body, as well as the very sturdy ‘aNueNue Green Leather Hardshell Case’.
