The aim is clearly stated: to present instruments with a more vintage look and which stand out from their modern models with which they have revolutionised the ukulele market in recent years. However, the DNA of the manufacturer is well and truly there, and we find with delight, an excellent substain, a rich sound in volume with an incredible dynamic. A new fan-shaped bracing system is fitted to this series, which brings out the midrange frequencies full of harmonies, and it should also be noted that they are equipped with Gotoh UPT mechanics, which are extremely precise.  The Singer RT1K is made entirely of solid Hawaiian koa, grade AA, which provides a clarity where each note stands out from the others for a beautiful articulation. The natural compression of the koa provides a lush, singing acoustic sound that will awaken the happy-strummer in you. The Sunburst Ice Tea is masterfully crafted and visually appealing with an extraordinary fiery red colour palette. It has it all, a fantastic sound, exceptional luthiery on high end woods: "Swiss Moon" spruce for the top and Indian rosewood for the back and sides. Originating from Switzerland, the Moon spruce has a white and snowy appearance and a straight and tight wood grain. It is adaptable to different climates, making it one of the most durable and stable tone woods. Rosewood is a hard, oily wood with a dark red appearance. It produces a deep bass, and a very harmonic treble.  These woods are solid and have been naturally air-dried for many years before being put into production. Koaloha KTM-00 Solid Hawaiian Koa Tenor Ukulele (real pictures) PARTICULAR SIGNS   Tenor  Solid Hawaiian koa top  Solid Hawaiian koa back & sides  CNC shaped mahogany neck  Ebony bridge & fingerboard  Koaloha gear tuners  Tusq nut & saddle  Salle length : 432 mm  20 frets  Nut width : 37mm  Koaloha 5-pointed crown headstock  Paua Abalone headstock logo  Paua Abalone fret maker  Koaloha's "Musubi" sound hole  Gloss finish  Hard-case include   Made in Hawaii  CASA OPINION Experts rank these ukuleles among the best on the planet, and we've never had so much pleasure playing a solid koa ukulele. Production of Koaloha ukuleles began in 1995, handcrafted, one by one, in Honolulu, and although they have undergone improvements over time, they still sound with the same signature: a tone rich in harmony, warmth and luminosity. Perfectly balanced, these instruments are ideal for all types of music. From finger picking to strumming, from classical to jazz, the Hawaiian Koa series sounds wonderful. In the hands, it's very pleasant, extremely light and well balanced. The build quality is obvious, and you know you're playing a top-quality ukulele. The overall impression is one of absolute classicism, with a magnificent 5-point crown-shaped headstock and a sublime rosette deliciously named "Musubi" (snack popular in Hawaii). You'll also benefit from the "better than the weather" warranty, which allows you to have your ukulele repaired without any time limit.
