The solid mango wood used has a different appearance to that of the standard version, with an exotic look and variations in the wood grain that are reminiscent of a multitude of tiny caterpillars criss-crossing each other, which is very pleasing to admire. The warm, mellow mango tone is also very clear and precise, and the high notes are magnificently bright. Only a handful have arrived, so don't miss the chance to discover these new models.

(We...it's the sound!), so simple and uncluttered are the construction and design that focus on the essentials: a rich, deep and balanced sound. Mahogany has been used to make ukuleles for over a century. It offers warm, mellow tones, and may not be suitable when you want a bright, sharp sound, but so beautiful in "jazzy" tones. These ukuleles are made in Java, Indonesia, and benefit from the expertise of the Ko'olau/Pono workshops, true pioneers of the ukulele in Hawaii.
