Initially intended for the Portuguese cavaquinho, APC responded favourably to the request of La Casa de Ukulele™ to decline these designs, on concert and soprano ukuleles. This is a vivid and beautifully imperfect handmade paint and engraving job, which has nothing to do with a sanitized and standardized industrial decoration. The solid acacia wood delivers a harmonious sound, with beautiful, full and true notes all along the neck. Made by APC in Portugal.

Mahogany has been used to make ukuleles for over a century. It offers warm, mellow tones, and may not be suitable when you want a bright, sharp sound, but so beautiful in "jazzy" tones. These ukuleles are made in Java, Indonesia, and benefit from the expertise of the Ko'olau/Pono workshops, true pioneers of the ukulele in Hawaii.
