The instrument is made from laminated Hawaiian Koa, and offers exceptional acoustic performance with an impressive, extremely well-balanced volume. Low-G soprano ukuleles are rare, and the XS is probably the best in this category. The Low-G adds wonderful depth to the sound, and the mahogany adds a surprisingly rich, perfectly balanced tone with great clarity. The thin, flat neck is incredibly easy to play, and despite its 35mm width at the nut, the strings are well spaced out, playing comfort is addictive, and intonation is remarkably good right up to the highest positions.  Exceptional workmanship and top-quality materials make this instrument excellent value for money.
