CASA OPINION

Introducing the Flight 4SB, a signature ukulele designed through the collaboration of Flight and ukulele artist 4stringboy. The 4SB uses a popular combination of woods: solid spruce for the top and solid rosewood for the body, and offers a powerful, crystal-clear sound.

The design is a success, with the caramel-coloured maple rosette and cutaway highlighting the luxurious black gloss finish of the top and the dark rosewood body.

The koa produces a full and rich sound in the upper midrange, and does not lack punch and volume. It was warmly recommended to us by a customer, and after a first contact with them, we can say that we were delighted by the quality of the commercial exchanges, the professionalism and the seriousness.  Their instruments are just like them, a unique design and an irreproachable quality of manufacture, with a particular attention to the smallest details. All their ukuleles have an additional soundhole, for a surround effect that adds incredible volume and clarity for the player. All at a price that defies all competition! We sincerely believe that this can only be the work of enthusiasts.  This Koa Formosan (Pacific Island acacia) model sounds great, with lots of sustain. The pickup system is dual and uses both an under-saddle piezo and an internal pickup, giving a better amplified sound with more possibilities. It also comes with a high quality padded carrying case. This is a premium instrument at an affordable price, and we are happy to offer this brand in France, so please come and try it.

This thinline body is not bulky and very comfortable to hold, while keeping a nice amplitude of sound. The strings installed on it are Worth fluorocarbon strings, they are very thin, and offer a crystal clear sound. The piezo pickup associated with the double B1 preamp gives a sound quite faithful to that of the pure acoustic. In short, we can say that the force is with this Princess Leia ukulele.
The Rebel Custom Shop Arete Tenor

The Rebel Custom Shop Arete Tenor PARTICULAR SIGNS  Tenor  Solid mango & mahogany top   Solid mango back & sides   Marango neck   Ebony bridge & fingerboard  Ebony head plate  Gotoh Stealth key Tuning machines  TUSQ®  nut & saddles  The Rebel strings Low-G  Nut width : 38,05 mm   Ebony rosette  19 frets  Gloss finish  Deluxe gig bag included  Made in Thailand  CASA OPINION The luthiers in Rebel's custom shop must have had free hand to express so much creativity in the creation of these two models we've just received, so different and innovative are they. This Arete model is a limited edition of 6, and we're delighted to be able to offer you one in our shop. Everything about it is singular, starting with the slightly pear-shaped body we've never seen before. The soundboard is a blend of mango and spalted mahogany with a simply sublime crescent-moon rosette contour. The sides are in mango and the back in Indian rosewood. The headstock is finely carved, and the Gotoh Stealth double-tone machine heads add even more character. This model is inspired by Greek philosophy. Arete" is a Greek concept meaning "excellence of every kind". The term can also refer to excellence in "moral virtue", the fulfillment of a goal or function: living up to one's potential. A person of arete is of maximum efficiency: he uses all his faculties - strength, bravery and spirit - to achieve concrete results. In the Homeric world, arete implies all the abilities and potentialities available to human beings. This breathtaking beauty doesn't detract from the incredible resonance and depth of sound this ukulele is capable of producing. A rich, consistent sound with plenty of roundness. The Rebel gig bag is included, but we offer a hard case for added protection. Don't hesitate to add this superb tenor to your collection. We guarantee you'll love it!

The Rebel Ukulele Double Crème Tenor with Gig Bag PARTICULAR SIGNS  Tenor   All solid mango   Mahogany neck  Ebony fretboard bridge and faceplate  Maple fretboard marker and wood marquetry logo  Gotoh UPT tuners  The Rebel Excella® fluorocarbon strings  TUSQ® nut and saddle   Nut width : 38,05 mm  Scale length : 438mm  19 frets  High gloss finish  Deluxe gig bag included  Made in Thailand CASA OPINION This series is eye-catching and stands out from the rest. It is true that the massive mango tree is excentric. There is also something modern about these ukuleles, the geometric and cubic shapes on the fingerboard and on the logo are certainly part of it. However, once in hand the sound is smooth and creamy, they sing traditionally well and are easy to learn thanks to an exceptional playability. The Rebel Ukulele brings a particular care to the manufacturing, and all the models that we received are always extremely well finished. Between modernity and tradition, The Rebel Ukulele never ceases to seduce us, and we think that it is a brand that will count a lot in the future of the ukulele, and here, at La Casa, they will always have a place of choice. Please note that the model you see in the picture will be the one sent.

We've never seen an abalone pearl inlay on a ukulele top before - it's magical! There's a wisdom that emanates from this "The voyage collection" series designed by artist Sam Mangakahia. Each engraving evokes strong symbols of Maori culture. These ukuleles look great. The sound, meanwhile, is quite respectable and remains the same as that found in their laminated mahogany models like the KA-15T.

This handcrafted model, made from solid Hawaiian Koa has sublime wood ripples on both sides of the body, and if you're looking for an exceptional ukulele, put a serious option on this one, as the workmanship is beautiful and the materials are top notch, but by far, the most remarkable feature of this instrument is its sound.
