The least we can say is that they both live up to our expectations. Don't let the simple design of the WUS-4 fool you into thinking it's an ordinary laminated ukulele. The WUS-4 is built in a traditional style from premium koa laminate imported from Hawaii. The D-shaped neck profile is slimmer than what we are used to from Flight and the headstock is slightly wider (36mm). Combined with a precise tuning, with a very low action, the WUS-4 has exceptional playability. The sound of the koa is naturally open, balanced and brilliant, the WUS-4 has nothing to envy to some more expensive ukuleles and more prestigious brands, it is without doubt a success that confirms the art of Japanese manufacturing.

In terms of playability, it has a slightly wider nut (36mm) and a thinner neck profile, which is a real pleasure to play. With this model, Flight offers us a singing soprano perfect for strumming with an exceptional quality/price ratio.
