In order to harmonise their offer, they have now decided to distribute the “eco series” in France and Europe under the name “Famous”. Apart from the label, nothing changes - it's a Kiwaya made in Japan! The instrument is made from laminated Hawaiian Koa, and offers exceptional acoustic performance with an impressive, extremely well-balanced volume. Its light weight and extremely precise tuning make this ukulele an addictive instrument to play. This model is the same as the FS-5G but with friction action action, making it even lighter at just 333g! Classic and timeless, the pineapple shape is in the purest Hawaiian tradition. After comparing it at length with the standard version (the KSM-00 soprano), we found them to be extremely similar, but we perceive more pep and projection in this model. As you know, each instrument is unique, and in any case, two ukuleles of the same model will never sound exactly the same, especially at this level of perfection.
