In order to harmonise their offer, they have now decided to distribute the “eco series” in France and Europe under the name “Famous”. Apart from the label, nothing changes - it's a Kiwaya made in Japan! The instrument is made from laminated Hawaiian Koa, and offers exceptional acoustic performance with an impressive, extremely well-balanced volume. Its light weight and extremely precise tuning make this ukulele an addictive instrument to play. This model is the same as the FS-5G but with friction action action, making it even lighter at just 333g! Kiwaya has a long history as a ukulele manufacturer, which makes this Eco series different from and above other ukuleles in the same price range.

The specifications remain the same; only the item numbers have changed. This ukulele is a beautiful tribute to vintage Martin ukuleles! The wood grain of the Fidji mahogany is splendid, the whiskers on the bottom of the body and the double purfling on the fingerboard contribute to the natural elegance of this model. In rhythmic and nervous playing the chords will keep their clarity and in fingerpicking each note will sound like crystal.
