Produced in an extremely limited series, this Neri concert model is distinguished by its acacia construction, a wood that produces a tone that is warm, mellow and remarkably balanced. The positioning of the soundholes on the top of the body promotes excellent projection and a very even sound distribution. The Neri is fantastic for fingerpicking; it accurately reproduces the subtlest nuances of your playing with tremendous expressiveness. Its character stems from a wood selection that is as bold as it is unexpected: a solid mango top and back, paired with solid spruce sides. A unique combination that is characteristic of The Rebel and their bold design philosophy. Many luthiers believe that spruce reveals its full potential when used as a soundboard. However, they have used it for the sides, and the resulting sonic dimension is breathtaking—the sound is intensely rich and lively. The Lovelace thus reminds us of a simple yet essential idea: in lutherie, as elsewhere, rules are sometimes meant to be challenged.

Following on from "the Classic" and "Plus Armrest" models, here comes "the Plus", featuring not one but 4 side ports. Progress cannot be stopped! Not only do these openings give the instrument a unique style and character, they also act as a feedback, making it much easier to perceive all the subtleties of your playing. Unlike the ‘Classic’ version, it also features Indian rosewood contour strips and a new cover. The same sound can be found across the entire range, with magnificent warmth and roundness contrasting with piercing highs. An ideal instrument for solo playing and fingerpicking.
