We settled in a so-called "sensitive" suburb...sensitive to art, to beauty, to poetry, yes! You should have seen the amazement of the kids and the older ones when they passed in front of the shop window, where our brand new and shiny guitars were displayed with an unconcealed staging. We no longer count the number of thanks and encouragements we received... it's clear, we had to create vocations.
We started as we could, rather specialized in guitars, we sometimes had to hang some of our personal instruments (not for sale of course) to flesh out the shelves, but little by little, passion helping, and word of mouth too, we found our cruising speed, and could enrich our catalog, and then one day we received some copies of these small 4-string guitars from the islands ...
It was the ideal instrument for us, affordable, easy to store and a good way to stand out. Our collection of uke quickly grew, and exponentially, we bought more than enough, they were everywhere, I think it was funny to have more to offer than the 1000m2 shops that had not yet seen the craze.
Our local notoriety began to extend, and enlightened ukululeists, players of exceptions (some now enlisted in the adventure La Casa) began to frequent the store, in their contacts I must admit we learned a lot, and, I take this opportunity which is given to me, to thank them warmly.
The galloping evolution of our range of ukulele not being compatible with the size of our shop, so charming is it, it was time to show clearly our ambitions and to project ourselves in the e.commerce, but in our way...
Today, with the same passion, we launch La Casa de Ukulele™, because the ukulele deserves its specialized e.commerce site Made in France.
We want to offer you access to high-end brands and prestigious models not found in France.
We also want to offer ukuleles at low prices, but which are not toys. We dodge with the agility of the star dancers the shining offers of the big groups to sell their ukuleles in wood of cagette.
We are free and independent to select only the models that we like in our catalog.
Today we have more than 400 models in stock, tomorrow surely 1000.
